Welcome!
I approach counselling from a collaborative and compassionate perspective, creating a space where clients feel empowered, heard, and safe. I believe in building genuine connections and supporting individuals through both the challenges and triumphs of life.
My philosophy is to meet clients where they are, offering a non-judgmental presence and an open space for dialogue. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that fosters trust, reflection, and personal growth.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout and relationship conflict. Woven throughout my practice is a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and the ways it can influence our emotional and psychological experiences. I integrate this understanding into my therapeutic approach, recognizing that our physical and emotional well-being are closely intertwined.
In addition to my counselling work, my background as an educator provides me with a unique insight into the student experience. This perspective allows me to effectively support youth and their families as they navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. I draw on practical strategies and a compassionate lens to help families foster resilience and well-being at home and in school environments.
While I have a strong foundation in supporting youth, my practice also extends to working with adults. I welcome individuals at any stage of life to take meaningful steps toward mental wellness in an encouraging and inclusive space.

As a registered clinical counsellor, I feel very privileged and find it an honor to walk with clients on this messy journey called life. Life can be difficult, fraught with challenges, and we were never meant to do this on our own.
I know how difficult it is to ask for help and reach out. It requires strength and vulnerability. So, thank you for coming to this page and taking the next step.
I am currently a registered clinical counsellor with the BCACC. For most of my working life, I have been working as a teacher specifically teaching children/youth with specific needs and challenges. As a result, I have an intimate knowledge and experience of the education system both here in Canada and the UK. I understand the frustration that parents and students face especially if they have learning challenges and/or are neurodivergent. It can feel very lonely. I am a huge advocate for those who feel like they have no voice specifically in an education setting. As a parent I understand this intimately. What I have learned from education is about the power of connection and how what every human being longs for is to be seen, heard, and understood. This informs my entire approach to counselling.
My focus and approach to counselling
I believe that we are the experts of our own lives and stories and in view of that my focus is on a person-centered approach using narrative therapy with a humanistic approach.
I am warm, and compassionate with a touch of humor and my clients would describe me as non-judgmental and authentic.
