A Clinical Counsellor designated as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC (British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors).
Veronica Morrow RCC #19963
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC (#19963). The bulk of my experience is working with trauma, complex trauma (ex. sexual assault/exploitation) as well as focusing on attachment within families and relationships. When I work with teens, I am keenly aware that enlisting the wisdom of the family is as valuable as building a strong therapeutic relationship with an adolescent. I have worked with teens who might be described as “high risk” and have an eye for building a strong relationship even when your teen is feeling sceptical about counselling.
I have a special interest in working with people struggling with fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum experience. If you have struggled with any of these issues, you have a unique perspective that requires an understanding of the many contextual layers that impact how you are feeling.
If you’re on the fence about counselling, not sure if it’s right for you or you’re wary about finding the right match, book an intro-call and trust your gut. Worst case, you never speak to me again and you spent 15 minutes learning more about what you want in a counsellor.

(She/Her/Hers)
Anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to face it alone. I work with teens and adults experiencing these as well as relationship stress, life transitions, grief & loss, and feelings of overwhelm. We’ll work collaboratively, and at times I might ask challenging questions to help you explore new perspectives or parts of yourself as you move toward clarity. Not sure where to start? That is completely okay. I will support you as we explore your inner world and make sense of what’s going on. This is a space where you—or your teen—can show up without pressure and where it’s okay not to have everything figured out.
Your goals and strengths will lead the direction of therapy, with a few tweaks here and there. We will consider your current relationships as well as your childhood to inform us of how your body’s Nervous System directs and impacts you each day. As you learn more about your body’s fight/flight/freeze responses you will begin to understand your emotional responses and choose different ways to express yourself. Therapy can sometimes be intimidating, so my job is to help you feel relaxed, maybe even laugh a little at ourselves. We will create space for difficult emotions and might find new ways to respond to familiar challenges. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, supportive relationship—one where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
Wondering if your teen might be neurodivergent? Hearing terms like ADHD or Autism can be overwhelming. When you’re in the thick of parenting challenges it can feel like a lot, especially when you’re not sure if your approach is helpful. I have worked with teens who are diagnosed with ADHD or Autism, as well as those who haven’t had an assessment. As a parent, you might also be looking for support with setting limits while helping your adolescent mature with the confidence to make mistakes. Neurodiverse teens can struggle between masking their behaviours and learning to accept themselves for the unique and awesome people they are. I can support your teen (and you) in navigating through the daily grind of school/friends/family/social media in a way that works for them, not always for everyone else.
Whether you’re reaching out for yourself or for your teen, I offer an approach that respects your unique experiences and supports growth at your own pace.

RCC #21672
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel genuinely supported and empowered to heal and grow.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals facing trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. I’ve worked with teens navigating difficult emotions, anxiety, and depression, as well as with adults in community, correctional, and psychiatric settings. My passion lies in helping clients discover hope, resilience, and lasting change.
Whether you’re navigating personal or relationship struggles, or coping with life transitions such as illness, loss, grief, or divorce, I’m here to support you. Having moved through my own life transitions, I deeply understand the importance of feeling supported. I especially enjoy helping women through key life stages, including menopause, and bring extensive experience in working with men across a wide range of concerns.
In our work together, I draw on proven therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs—such as EMDR (for processing past trauma), AEDP (an experiential approach that draws on emotional and somatic awareness), and polyvagal theory (to support nervous system regulation).
Reaching out for therapy is a courageous first step, and I want to help you feel as comfortable as possible. Let’s start with a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
